Aurora has had a love of music for as long as she can remember. She enjoys playing the piano, harmonica, and has been learning the guitar. She has been in a couple theatre productions, her favorite being when she played Cinderella. Aurora also has a love of working with children and started directing and teaching music camps for kids when she was 16. She has taught gymnastics, country dance, been a nanny in Alaska, and a substitute teacher for kids Kindergarten through Seniors. She is excited to combine her love of teaching with her love of music through Tavaci! She has 3 children and they are her greatest joy in life! Aurora graduated with her bachelors in Emergency Management, and her favorite past times are all centered around the outdoors.

Jessica has a love for the Tavaci program! Starting at age 4 she participated in Tavaci (known as Rising Stars) in Preston, ID. She loved the bi-annual performances, the engaging classes, and speciality musical numbers. She carried that love with her through middle school and high school by participating in choirs, guitar lessons, and theatrical performances. Her favorite roles were Ado Annie in the production of Oklahoma! and Miss Hannigan in Annie.
Jessica has experience with piano, private vocal training, choir, and dance. She directed the children’s music program in her church for years as well as her own Tavaci location in Florida before moving to Cassia County.

Mauri Lewis

Mauri began her musical journey with singing lessons at a young age, but her passion took off when her family moved to Nashville, TN, where she immersed herself in the music scene. She participated in school choir from 5th to 12th grade, engaging in numerous community performances, competitions, and as was given several solos. Mauri received classical training from an opera singer at her church, which she continued while studying at BYU-Idaho and enjoyed performing several arias. After graduating with a degree in Marriage and Family Studies, Mauri moved to Declo in 2022 with her husband. Since then, she has served as a substitute teacher in Cassia County, teaching all grade levels, and has performed in productions at the Wilson Theatre, including “Grease” and “Joseph”. Mauri is passionate about teaching and enjoys nurturing children’s development alongside caring for her young son.

Felicia Poteet

Mentor

Felicia has had a love for the performing arts from the time she learned to talk and walk.  Her first experiences singing solo was at the age of 4 in a children’s singing group directed by her mom.  Now, she is excited to share that love with her children and yours through TaVaci!  She’s had many years of dance and private vocal training, was a national champion in extemporaneous speaking, and has been involved in several local theatre productions throughout the years.  She has a Master of Public Administration degree, with a Music minor.  A Burley native, Felicia married a Minico-ite and now lives north of Rupert, where her favorite job is being a farmer’s wife to Cregg, and a mother to 5 sweet kids.
