Studio Policies
Attendance & Make-Ups
Consistent attendance helps students feel confident about their music and perform their best. If your child will be absent, please let us know. We may hold occasional extra practices for specialty numbers (no extra charge), usually right after regular class. Specialty numbers are optional but really fun.
Class & Concert Behavior
We keep classes fun and interactive. Students should be able to follow age-appropriate direction; persistent disruptive behavior may jeopardize participation.
Concerts & Dress Rehearsals
There are two concerts annually (Christmas and Spring), free to the public. Dress rehearsal is mandatory and closed to the public and parents.
Additional Performances
We’re occasionally invited to community events (e.g., Festival of Trees). Attendance is encouraged but not required. No additional charges.
Costumes & Props
All students wear the selected costume. We reuse costumes as long as they fit; new 3rd-grade girls change to an older-group top. Used costumes may be available on designated days.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Classes are at Acadia Music in Rupert (two rooms). Please pick up promptly so we can clean during five-minute breaks. For safety, please come to the front door for younger children. Please avoid dropping off more than five minutes early without letting a teacher know.
Visitors
Visitors are welcome, but space is limited. Consider brief/occasional observation, especially for younger children who are easily distracted. Talk to us anytime about your child’s progress—we want TaVaci to be the best experience possible!
